Tell Shoppers: LG's a Grinch When It Comes to the Palisades

We're getting the word out to holiday shoppers – and we need you! Join us SUNDAY, DEC. 22, in front of a Best Buy in Manhattan, where we’ll tell consumers about LG's plans which would spoil the Palisades.

WHEN: Sunday, December 22nd at 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m. (We'll meet outside of Best Buy at 12:45 p.m. and start at 1 p.m.)

WHERE: 23rd Street & 6th Avenue (southeast corner, outside of Best Buy), New York, NY 10010

WHO: You and as many people as you can bring.

HOW: We'll hand out leaflets, hold signs, talk to shoppers and otherwise make our views known. (Press will be invited.)

OUR GOAL ON SUNDAY: To inform the shopping public about LG's plans to build a 143' tower and how shoppers can help save the Palisades.

PLEASE BE SURE TO RSVP: We need a good crowd. (Also, it will allow us to contact you if we need to change our plans.)

Is this a boycott? No, but we do want people to know that, if they buy LG products, their dollars will help a company intent on forever spoiling one of the great natural landmarks in the country.

What's our beef with Best Buy? We don't have one, but they sell LG products so it's a good place to get our message out.
